What’s your favourite part of the job?
When a client looks in the mirror and says, “You’ve done exactly what I wanted.”
How?
Most people don’t need a new idea. They just need someone to translate what’s already in their head. That’s my favourite part.
Why are your consultations different?
ADHD brain. By the time you’ve said, “I don’t know how to explain it…” I’ve usually got three ideas in my head.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. Just tell me how you want to feel, show me a few inspiration photos and be honest about your hair history. I’ll translate the rest.
What’s your favourite type of client?
The ones who say, “I trust you.” That’s when the magic happens.
So I don’t need to know the hairdresser words?
Definitely not. Just tell me what’s bothering you and I’ll translate it.
Will you always say yes?
No. If I don’t think something will suit you, achieve what you’re hoping for or is right for your hair, I’ll always tell you.

Years of experience, honest advice, genuine care, hair translating… the free therapy comes with it.
